Plenty of hobby progress ahead of the trip next year, with my brand new warband painted up and ready to start treasure hunting in the frozen city!
Firstly my wizard and apprentice, with the familiar (I’m not sure what happens if both of them successfully cast Familiar, maybe they fight over Fido).

Next, two warhounds, only one in the initial warband, but I figure a kennel will be an early upgrade to allow a second, and whilst I was painting I’d get both of them completed.

The barbarian, mouth agape whilst in the throes of a blood rage, I expect he’ll be launching himself into the fray with abandon in upcoming games.

Two archers, ready to rain arrows on my enemies… or at least try and hit something.

I’ve got four thugs painted up, although I expect as the warband evolves, these morph into specialists.

This is my captain/knight/something. It’s a rad model, I bought and painted it, I now have to work out how to get into my warband!

And we have the apothecary, not an immediate inclusion, but I expect he may end up making it in because the model is so cool.

And here’s the whole group together, ready to set out and grab some treasure. Really happy with how they came out and looking forward to getting a few games in before the tour.

So here you see what is now my main Frostgrave warband. I’m really happy with how these models came out, and the almost fluro green skin really makes them pop on the tabletop. I’ve got to work up some construct models (aka animated piles of rock) and also get a terrain piece finished, but I’m feeling very confident this is achievable, now I have the main event out of the way and ready to scavenge treasure in the frozen city. Until next time.
