Time has once again flown by, with hobby life and real life conspiring to limit my amount of blogging time. That said, I had a super productive June, with the key achievement being the painting of my Stark force for the recent Winds of Winter tournament.
A Song Of Ice And Fire Tabletop Miniature Games
The House Umber force is now complete and what an epic amount of models to get done in one month! I credit my fourth place finish at Winds of Winter with the army being painted and am super happy with how it came out. Being the glutton for punishment I am, I have since decided I need to finish off painting the two Stark hero boxes, two units of Crannogmen Trackers, and at some point get the other starter set units painted.

I also snuck in a quick paint job on this Free Folk Savage Giant for Tom to help him get painted for Winds of Winter as well. It came out well for how easy it was to paint, and on the back of it I ended up buying a box of them to paint for myself.

Terrain
This was an exceptional find at Little Wars, I’ve been hunting the Dreadstone Blight model for so long but the ones that pass across eBay are invariably more expensive than I can justify. The model came together well and is fairly sturdy, and I knocked out a quick paint job with base coat laid down with the airbrush and a drybrush to pick out the detail. Super happy to add this to my collection and get it painted, it will be making an appearance in forthcoming games!

Conclusion
Another cracking month of hobby, still reeling from getting all the Umbers painted, but as time marches on so do I. Plenty more coming down the pipeline for July.
