Hard to believe May is run and done, the year is flying by. Completed models this month was a little light on, although I made progress on my Stark force for A Song Of Ice And Fire Tabletop Miniatures Game, getting them all based and primed. I’ll be focussed on getting the Starks painted for a tournament in early July, as I’ve been enjoying playing them more than my Night’s Watch recently (potentially just a function of them being new to me). On to the models.
Terrain
I knocked out two Village Hut kits from Knights of Dice this month, the kits were both assembled in a few hours, and I spent another couple of hours sprucing up the roof of each, one with tiles and one with thatch, and painting them. A nice, quick project to build out a fantasy town board.

Batman Miniatures Game (“BMG”)
On the back of three games, I purchased quite a few models from the BMG range, mostly older metal models which were on sale. I was most excited by the idea of being able to run a team of ninjas, so quickly built and painted all the League of Shadows models I had.

Random
I’ve purchased (one might say over bought) a bunch of medieval/fantasy style civilians to use in various games, mostly Rangers of Shadow Deep, and so have been trying to slot in a few here and there as I work on other stuff. This month I got four monks and two ladies done, just after having played the RoSD mission I needed them for!

I also painted these two demons (or gargoyles) which have been sitting on my desk for a while. And a very random anvil, which I think was from a Mantic terrain crate….

Conclusion
Another month with plenty of hobby smashed through. I’m excited to get my teeth into my Stark force over June, although am still wondering why I decided to get a second force for an army scale game… Ah, well, I do love painting. Until next month.
